Are you a self-motivated person with Geographical Information System (GIS) experience looking for a new challenge? This position forms part of the Asset Information team who are responsible for ensuring details of the electrical and gas network assets are accurately represented in the GIS and associated databases. This enables key stakeholders to effectively and efficiently manage the Electricity and Gas networks.
Let’s talk about you. You may have just graduated from University and are looking to put your GIS skills to use; you’ll likely have a Tertiary qualification, working knowledge of business systems and various technology domains. You’ll also be a great communicator, with a willingness to ask questions. You will need a great attention to detail and be able to focus on quality data entry. Knowledge of the gas, electricity industry or other regulated environments is an advantage.
