About the Role
This role is to support a key Firstname client who are one of New Zealand’s largest corporates. You will be working with their direct sales teams supporting the daily field operations utilising a custom-built application based on the Esri ArcMAP suite. This is one of those rare opportunities where you’ll be using your GIS skills to work with a large commercial organisation to deliver to their business goals.
You will be working with a range of stakeholders and your day will include a variety of GIS analysis, data management, planning and direct communications. Things can & do change rapidly so you need to be ready to adapt as required. It’s an exciting environment and one where you’ll be able to develop both your technical Esri GIS, analytical and task management skills.
The key responsibilities include:
- Planning the quarterly strategy on where the sales teams are to be deployed nationally
- Production of the daily target area sales maps based on your analysis of the current market requirements
- Liaison with the sales managers and team leaders to ensure effective deployment of the strategy
- Working closely with the dedicated analyst team to ensure that the Sales Agents are where they need to be each day
- Taking ownership of when things need to change, adaptability in a fast-moving environment is important
Skills & Experience
This is a great learning opportunity for someone who has completed their degree which included GIS as either part of under or post graduate. You are most likely looking for your first role or may have some workforce experience and looking to put your GIS skills to work to grow further.
