We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, innovative and forward thinking individual to join our Geospatial Team on a fixed term contract for 2 years.
Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to interpret requirements and the technical expertise to provide innovative and high quality GIS solutions and results.
This position would suit a person that that has experience delivering geospatial solutions and web mapping applications using the ESRI suite of products. Knowledge in FME Desktop and FME Server is desirable and experience in Python scripting essential.
In this role you will:
- Develop, configure and maintain web mapping applications
- Provide support and assistance to the GIS mobility solution
- Undertaking spatial analysis by applying independent initiative, critical thinking and problem solving.
- Assist with the development and implementation of other GIS related projects as identified in the Geospatial Strategy and annual work plan.
