Esri Server-Side Technician

Website geoworxnz geoworx limited

geoworx exists to help you with your ArcGIS platform.

geoworx is growing its client base and now needs to grow its team.  The business focus is ArcGIS Enterprise, designing it, deploying it, tuning it, administering it and upgrading it.  geoworx is an IT workshop that helps its clients do GIS well.  It’s been suggested that geoworx is a thought leader because the consultancy offered comes from a different angle.  That angle is best defined as experience.  If you want to grow in experience and become the best you can be, then geoworx wants to hear from you.

geoworx is looking for someone committed to quality, who wants to learn, loves working with clients, communicates well and wants to do great work.  The role is very technical and would form a strong foundation for people who aspire to spatial architecture and consultancy.

As for you, well, you could be a recent graduate or a seasoned consultant or practitioner.  You may want to work full time or get some work-life balance and go part-time.  However, there is a need for some evening and weekend work, but that’s planned and agreed well in advance.  Flexibility is key here. If you’re flexible, then geoworx will be flexible regarding either time in lieu or overtime.  geoworx wants its team to be treated fairly and feel valued.

As the first team member, you can shape this role as you want.  geoworx needs someone that can help with installing software, running a service desk, configuring systems and responding to outages.  It’s technical work.  If you’re relatively junior, you can expect to work from the office quite a bit, where you will be mentored and challenged to grow.  With experience, you will have the opportunity to work more from home and be released into direct client work.

geoworx wants to build a strong team of passionate and ethical consultants and architects over time.  This is your opportunity to come in early and set the tone and direction for the team’s growth.

geoworx has a modern, recently refitted office space for a small team in a quiet (almost rural ) environment.  The main Kapiti line is within easy walking distance, and there is parking and easy access from State Highway 1.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity informally, then please reach out to Scott Tansley by email in the first instance –
