FMNZ have an enterprise license agreement with ESRI allowing our staff to fully utilise the ESRI suite. Your knowledge in this field will be key to championing the use of these products in particular ArcGIS online, Field Apps such as Survey 123 and Desktop.
Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a GIS Analyst to assist the Land Information Manager in the day to day running of our GIS system, as well as participating in future development as FMNZ grows. The position is based in our Napier office and is full time (40 hours per week).
This is a multidisciplinary role that requires a person who can think outside the box and able to work as part of a team and autonomously. A can-do attitude, attention to detail, high work standards and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
• Create, analyse, and manage data to produce forestry maps or other similar outputs
• Maintaining and developing our core GIS fabric including Geomaster updates
• Providing GIS and other technical support to our staff
Our ideal candidate will need:
• To be experienced with ARCGIS and or related products.
• A sense of humour and ability to work in a team
This position may suit a recent graduate who is looking at starting their career in GIS.
