About the role

The purpose of this role is to enable EA Networks to have GIS-focussed processes to manage the company’s assets to their full potential. Your work will enable GIS users to prepare designs, issue for construction, capture alterations as per as-builts process and visualise data.

An additional focus for this role is on providing training and on-going support to GIS users and the wider EA Networks business.

Skills & Experience

  • At least two years of proven experience in GIS and/or Database Management.
  • Good knowledge and experience of the current Windows operating systems platforms and the technologies that are used to extend, enhance and support that environment.
  • Experience and training/qualifications with Oracle (particularly 11g+) would be considered advantageous.
  • Experience with Hexagon’s suite of products would be desirable but not essential.
  • Preferably a qualification in GIS, Computer Science, Data Base Management or programming experience with several years of suitable industry experience, or persons striving for that level.
  • Full NZ driver’s licence (Class 1).
