Do you want to be a part of the team supporting the GIS services of one of NZ’s fastest growing cities?

We have got an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join the Information Service Unit to support the technical and strategic development of Councils Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

In this role you will work with customers and the GIS Services Manager to support, extend and improve our GIS business solutions. Our focus is to produce a wide range of GIS services from drones, field asset capture, spatial analysis through to map production using the ESRI suite of software.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, a positive can-do attitude, and be proficient in using the ESRI suite of software. You’ll be a motivated self-starter, a natural problem solver, and keen to get stuck in to our upcoming projects.

This is a 12-month fixed term role.
