The aging infrastructure, growing populations, inadequate and constrained funding, finite resources, fragile environments, increasing connectivity and crowding force us to better understand our world and look at new ways to solve both old and emerging problems.

Our Geospatial Solutions group in New Zealand is seeking a Geospatial Consultant to assist our Senior Consultants in our busy Auckland office. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the day to day delivery of a diverse range Geospatial and Digital Solutions for an array of major projects and key clients across NZ.

Here’s What You’ll Need

Relevant Tertiary Degree
Between 1-5 years of experience
Can demonstrate skills in GIS, data science, computer science or similar
A basic understanding in common programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
A good understanding of data structures and databases
An understanding of general business systems, system interoperability, and workflow design
An understanding of geospatial data structures and GIS
A good understanding in ESRI suite (ArcGIS, AGOL, Arc Portal, web mapping)
Knowledge/familiarity of the FME Desktop software
Excellent communication skills
An understanding of project management fundamentals
