About you

You will be focused on providing excellent quality deliverables, be a team player able to both support more senior staff and lead junior staff.  You will ‘know how to do things right’ and also ‘do the right things’.  You will be inquisitive and seek out innovative solutions while also being communicative and nurturing good relationships.

Your role

Your title will be SENIOR SPATIAL ADVISER.  We are seeking a highly competent, motivated and energetic person in the early stage of their career to join our respected team. The primary function is to support the wider team led by our Spatial Group Manager. You will work alongside clients and stakeholders to provide them with innovative solutions and exceed their expectations.

You will have the following attributes:

  • Have a positive attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic nature.

We are looking for the following experience:

  • Proven skills in the following Esri software products: ArcGIS Pro, ModelBuilder, ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcPy, and spatial databases.
  • Experience working with clients either in a consulting role or an organisation with significant external or internal stakeholders.
  • 5+ years experience in the GIS industry, preferably with some experience in professional services.

You will probably have the following knowledge:

A degree, postgraduate or masters qualification in an analytical field such as GIS, or computer science.

Your location:

We have offices located in Auckland or Christchurch, with this role located in our Christchurch office.

You must have the right to work in New Zealand, so this means you need to be a citizen, have permanent residency or a current work visa that allows you to work in New Zealand.
