I am a motivated, hardworking individual who enjoys working both as part of a team and under my own guidance to solve and overcome problems. As a home educated student I have acquired the skills essential to working in an age of rapid innovation: a love of learning, the craft of effective communication, and the discipline of time management. These abilities are witnessed by my university record, particularly my University Merit Award, Scholarship, pending journal publication, and presentations of my work at both the International Cartographic Conference and the South Australian Spatial Information Day. In addition to academic abilities I have developed practical and team skills through the time I have spent as a volunteer firefighter, cadet trainer, doing general maintenance work as a campsite caretaker and as a member of a youth group committee. I look forward to applying and developing my talents as part of a team innovatively solving challenging and complex problems through the use of geospatial technologies.



Bachelor of Science (Honours) at University of South Australia

My researched-based honours degree involved using a user-centred design approach to develop a full stack web map application for a 500km shared use recreational trail in South Australia. The project was proposed and supported by the Yorke Peninsula Council. The web application developed allowed performant access of over 1000 spatial features through a relational database system. The application also allowed users to comment on and review trail objects and to submit spatial data highlighting trail issues. The application services were deployed on a single Linux server using Docker. The application can be viewed at

Developer at University of Tasmania

In this role I am using ESRI ArcGIS Online to create a visualisation and accessible repository of Antarctic geochronology and geochemistry data for the Australian Antarctic Partnership. The application I am developing will allow geologists to both view data online and download the results of queries in a tabular format. Through the opportunities presented by this position I have improved my skills in:

Project Live Developer at University of South Australia

In this role I captured 360-degree imagery and used photogrammetric modelling to collect a range of assets for use in a suite of products for geoscience education, including virtual reality, augmented reality, and web-based tools. I will be using these assets to create a 3D web map and virtual tour as an accessible introduction to these solutions.
